Narrative Report

After all the tiring days, sleepless nights and spending a lot of time to accomplished our
study finally we were allowed to present our study to our panelist. Our final defense was
scheduled on the 19th of March 2015. Before the presentation of our study we prepared all the
paper or documents needed before final defense and for us to avoid to re- defense again we make
sure that we already know and prepared to present our study to our panelist and our research
coordinator.

During our final defense we first started our presentation with a moment of silence to ask
for the guidance of Our Lord and to thank him as well through prayer. After that, we
acknowledge the presence of our panelist, research adviser, instructor and coordinator. One of
our member introduce our research study and we were given 10-15 minutes to present our whole
study. We discussed our research by presenting first the objective of our study which was the
study aims to determine the level of financial literacy (knowledge) and the level of application of
the financial literacy among the sari-sari store owners in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. After the
presentment of the objective of our study we proceed immediately to the discussion of the
statement of the problem which is very important in our study and lastly was the discussion of
the conceptual framework of our study.

After presenting some topic in chapter 1 we also discuss chapter 3 of our study. First are
the respondents of the study. Second was the discussion of the research instrument of our study
and lastly was the gathering of the data. After the chapter 3 we proceed to chapter 4. Chapter 4
includes the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. After we all discussed the main
topic. We presented the summary of all the finding in our study and also all the conclusions
drawn from the results. We also discussed the recommendation of our study that will be used in
the future. At the last part of the final defense our panelist and research coordinator were given
the chance to asked questions and give some recommendations and suggestions to improve our
study. As we go along with the question and answer portion of our final defense our research
adviser didn’t let us down, instead she helped us to surpass all the questions of our panelist.
 At the time that we were waiting for the result of our final defense we felt very nervous
because we didn’t know if we were going to pass or fail again. We were praying that we would
pass so that we were not going to re- defense again. When the chairman of our panel announced
the result we were very happy because finally we passed the final defense. We leave the room
with full smile in our faces and thank the Lord for this successful event of our lives.

Of course our research study didn’t end in the final defense because we still have to
revised our paper and took all the suggestions of our panel and our research coordinator for the
improvement of our study. We were very dedicated to finish this study because we need this for
the requirements of our grades to be able to graduate.

After a long wait, sacrificing our time and efforts, and experiencing stress we finally made it!
