a. Determine the parts of an essay;
b. Distinguish and present the essay provided with correct
corresponding label of each part; and
c. Reflect the significance of an essay in real life situation.

B. Lesson Proper
a. Motivation
- The teacher will present a text
consisting the three parts of an
essay. The students need to
answer the following question:
1. In this first part of the text, -Introduction, Sir.
what do you call this one?
2. In the middle, class, what do -Body, Sir.
you call this one?
3. This last part, class, what do -Conclusion, Sir.
you call this?
Now, what do you think is our -Essay, Sir.
topic for this morning?
b. Application
The class will be divided into four, Rubrics
all groups will be provided with Appropriateness – 5pts
the same essay, the essay is Correctness – 10pts
rumbled and they need to Delivery – 10pts
arrange, identify the three parts, Cooperation – 5pts

IV. Evaluation
In a ½ sheet of paper crosswise, write an essay about “Why learning English is
important?” 20points
V. Assignment
In a whole sheet of paper crosswise, make an essay about Puppy Love with minimum
of 200 words and maximum of 500 words.
