AGENDA FOR PROJECT HSE COMMITTEE

 Review the proceedings of earlier meetings.

 Discussing reports on safety inspections, audits and status of implementation of the recommendations
made in the reports.
 Increasing awareness among members about the site procedures by conducting short and brief
discussion by site HSE incharge in every meeting.
 Review the site safety performance statistics as prepared by site HSE incharge and take important
decisions including disciplinary actions.
 Reviewing the reports of all accidents/incidents and discussing the measures to avoid the recurrence
and follow up for implementation of recommendations.
 Reviewing safety awareness among employees of all levels and disciplines and nominate
engineers/supervisors (including contractors) for relevant safety training and promotional activities in
their areas.
 Results of random safety and health inspections and recommend improvements.
 Review of the health hazards associated with handling different types of explosives, chemicals and
other construction materials and to suggest remedial measures including use of proper personal
protective equipment;
 Review of welfare amenities in the project area and other miscellaneous aspects of safety, health and
welfare in the project area.
 Status of organizing safety weeks, safety competitions, talks and film shows on safety, preparing
posters or taking similar other measures as and when required or as necessary;
 The decisions and recommendations of the HSE committee
 Awarding the good and best safety performers on safety day.
