Alumni Meet 2015

Time: 2.30 p.m.

The Alumni Meet 2015 started by 2.30 p.m. The programme was presided over by
Dr. Pushpa Marian, Ms. Jaya P.J and Ms.Anu George (Member of the Alumni Executive
Member). The function started with a prayer song by the college choir.
The former students and the recruiters were addressed and welcomed by Ms. Jaya P.J.
This was followed by the self introduction by recruiting representatives from different
schools from Kerala and outside as well. St. Jude Global School, St. Joseph’s English
Medium School Jhansi, St.Sebastins H.S.S. Cheenthalar, Idukki and Data analytical
centre for Medical journal, Kalathipady were present for the function.
Then Dr. Pushpa Marian felicitated the students gathered for the programme and
appreciated their achievements. After that, the recruiters were asked to move to the
placement deskswhich was arranged behind the auditorium to interact with potential
young teachers. Unlike previous years, this year the meeting has also provided the chance
for the present M.Ed. students to get the placement after the completion of their course.
During this time new Alumni Executive members were selected. They are;

 Aneesha M. and Divyamol T.C. ( Natural Science)
 Asha Markose and Anju Sabu (Mathematics)
 Deepa D. Nair and Liss rani Jose( Physical Science)
 Anaswara K. Ramesan and Lovely Johny C. ( Social Science)
The executive members with the guidance of Dr. Pushpa Marian and Ms. Jaya P.J.
selected Ms.Anu George as the President Alumni Meeting.
 Then, few students from each optional subject came forward to share their
experiences about their teachers, friends, the campus, the course and their present carrier
with their friends and teachers, while they were served tea and snacks.
Ms. Anu George then proposed the vote of thanks and the function was
successfully concluded by 4 p.m. The mark sheet, Add on course certificates and the
College Magazine Carmelit 2014 were given to all the students and the Alumni Performa
filled by them were collected for further analysis of the effectiveness of the B.Ed.
programme.
The Alumni Meet 2015 brought together a friendly gathering and presented an
opportunity for the former students to meet the prospective employees for a reliable and
genuine placement.
