after patrol observed the defendant fail to make a proper turn off of Elm Street onto
Morningside Drive. The vehicle then failed to come to a complete stop on Morningside
Drive at the intersection of Main Street. The vehicle was then observed to be traveling at a

MPH zone. During the stop, patrol detected the odor of consumed alcohol coming from
the listed subject. Erdner was asked to complete a series of field sobriety tests, in which he
failed. Erdner was transported to Potsdam Police Department for processing. Erdner
refused to submit to a chemical test and was arraigned at Town of Canton Court in front of
Justice Morgan and released on his own recognizance.
