Rader's Chem4Kids; learn what a chemical reaction is in the Reactions section; learn
about the elements and the Periodic Table in the Elements section; learn about the
atom and it’s structure in the Atoms section; learn all about matter and its many states
in the Matter section; learn about biochemistry and its many uses, including
metabolism and its nutritional aspects, in the Biochemistry section; and lastly learn
about the units, symbols, constants and more used in chemistry in the Et Cetra
section. Click the activities link below these section links to connect to chemistry
activities.

The Pictorial Periodic Table; Search the elements based upon properties of the
element etc. Many features of this site are inactive.

___ ___ http://www.chemicalelements.com/

Chemical Elements.com - An Interactive Periodic Table of the Elements; much more
functional than the previous Periodic Table. Also provides a basic diagram of an
atom of each element.

Another Periodic Table. This one is very similar to the last but it
doesn’t provide the diagrams of the atoms.

ChemTutor website. For High school or College students this site gives assistance
with basic chemistry through more advanced chemistry.

Chemistry ConcepTests, From the site “Readers may be familiar with Harvard
physicist Eric Mazur's ConcepTests, which have been shown to enhance substantially
the comprehension of introductory physics concepts. Briefly, conceptual questions are
posed in the lecture room along with a few possible answers. Students vote on the
possible answers, then try to persuade their neighbors in the lecture room that they
are correct, and finally vote again. This form of peer instruction is often an effective
pedagogical method, and it also provides the instructor with on-line feedback as to
how well the class is following the lecture. “
