C. NATURE OF BUSINESS

My team is supposed to bake fruit pies as our product, concoction of fruits to make

it unique somehow we realized that it would be to tedious, to prepare the ingredients, the

measurement details in baking and of course its production costs. So we decided to make

fruit shakes instead because we believe it’s very healthy and affordable thus the

mushrooming of flavoured teas, cold coffees other cold beverages but ours would be

unique because we planned to use only the prettiest organic fruits available in the market

and it will all be natural ingredients, no sugar or artificial sweeteners just the blended fruits,

fresh milk and honey. Fruit juices are very good sources of vitamins and minerals

necessary for our health. As a matter of fact more people are resorting to eat more fruits
and vegetables their diet because people are now aware of its health advantages even to

preventive cure of critical illness like cancer, hypertension and heart ailment. We named it

with effective marketing  Often gets trouble in terms of

strategies rules and regulations by the

government
This is the overall SWOT analysis of our business about fruit shakes and according to the

table above, the strengths of our business shows that we are able to serve and get loads

of customers at the same time, even during calamities or in any phenomenon. In addition,

we offer quality products as we can. The weaknesses of our business is seen that some of

our employees / staff are often rude, products are often out of stock due to limited

employees / producers, and even has barely enough to produce our products. Oftentimes,

our location where we sell is not that much crowded with people to try our products. Worst-

case scenario, our staff often spends the funds profited / earned on other unnecessary

stuff.

Our opportunities in this business include expanding our operations to other countries, and

we do collaborate with other food manufacturers to produce the best quality product

possible. Having a franchise on popular stores like malls and stalls is yet our goal in order

to reach more customers. In addition, our government strongly supports small businesses

like us to help us offer our products better. It also comes with our effective marketing

strategies.

On the other hand, the dark side of our business, the threats. The major factors that

affects our business is that some companies copy our branding name, products and the

way we offer. It is the same with having a competition since other competitors offer better

services and products than our company. Other competitors also use effective, advanced

producing methods that are superior compared to ours. Rules and regulations is the
biggest factor, we often get in trouble since it plays a big role on how the government sets

regulations on small businesses like us and can change without any notice.
