PHOTOSHOP I – 30h

This course is designed to cover the basic and intermediate image editing features of Adobe Photoshop CS4. It is
also designed as one in a series of courses for students pursuing the Adobe Certification Exam for Adobe Photoshop
CS4, and it is a prerequisite to taking more advanced courses in the Adobe Photoshop CS4 series.
Prerequisite Comments:

Students should also have basic word processing skills, such as copying and pasting text, formatting text, and so
on. Students should also be familiar with the basic features/functions and terminology of image editing.

In this course, students learn professional techniques for obtaining consistent, predictable, high quality. They learn
a balanced approach, starting with system calibration, through the scanning process, image enhancements, and
color correction. They will use Photoshop to create and optimize images for the web. They will stage web page
components, arrange them aesthetically, and add interactivity to them.
Prerequisite Comments:
