II. Presenting Problem

The family here is an eligible Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program beneficiary. The grantee was
died last October 10, 2016 due car accident. The wife was working as domestic helper since,
2010.

III. Background Information/ History

Juan”s Family resides in Brgy. 2 Poblacion, Calamaba City, Their house made strong materials
and 2 storey. The family has access to drinking water they brougth mineral water and the
daily concomsion from community deep well, while their electricity they 1, 400 pesos
monthly. T
Ang kanilang bahay ay katabi lang ni julieta Rizal na kapatid ni gerwin kung saan doon nakatira
ang dalawang anak ni gerwin. Noong nabubuhay pa si gerwin, si kuya prodencio na talaga ang
pinaattend ng meeting at cya rin ang nagtitingin tingin sa mga bata since ang kanila hipag na
si julieta nagtitinda ng mga kakanin sa tabi ng kalsada since ang bahay nila ay medyo looban.

Last October 10, 2016 Gerwin was died due to tricyle accident , since her wife was working in
other country hindi nakauwi since ang kanyang amo ay bago pa...

Last March 2016, She decided to work in other country as Domestic Helper to help her family
special their three kids. Mang Gerry father of Jennylyn were the one who take good care of
his three grandson. As grandfather, all the necessities of three grandson was they provided
and he always think the best interest of the child.

Tatay Gerry was 49 years old, widow with two children. His other child were worked as
Salesboy at Citi Mart, Jennylyn were sending money monthly amounting Five Thousand Pesos
for the expenses of their family.

As a uncle , he were the one attending Family Development Session as a guardian. he is loving
and supportive to their niece. When the City Link made a home visit and interview to two
siblings, they are shy to express their feeling.
 IV. Assessment

This is a case of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiary who was not able to register
in Pantawid Program for both Parents of the child was have on lives. Per interview during home
visitation to the family it is a great help to them if they will register to the program and be an
active Pantawid beneficiary. The Balce’s family is very supportive and ready to lend their hand
to help the children. It is a good indication that the children have a strong support system coming
from the family. They are capable of providing the basic needs of the children because they have
regular source of income from fishing sometimes become skilled worker at the construction and
very willing to sustain those needs of the children. Cash Grants that the children will be able to
receive will also be of great help for them. They are also aware of the roles and responsibilities
they should have to perform.
