Subject: Extension of approval under the UGC scheme for providing Skill Based
Education under National Skill Qualification Framework (NSOF)

The University Grants Commission (UGC) is considering extension of approval to the

institutions already granted approval for running the scheme of Community College, B.Voc
and DDU KAUSHAL Kendras in order to impart skill based cources. Financial assistance
shall be provided for the cost of training as stipulated in the revised scheme guidelines
within the common norms notified in the official gazette of lndia for Skill Development
Schemes. Revised schemes guidelines for the NSQF Courses are available on the UGC
website i.e. www.ugc.ac.in

The institutions desirous of seeking extension of approvalfor the NSQF Courses may apply
as per the format annexed. The proposal should be in consonance with the scheme
guidelines. The proposal may be submitted via email nikhil.uqc@nic.in at the earliest, but
not later than 22nd June, 2018.
