Position Title ICT Support Coordinator, (Workforce Strategy)

SAMS supports the Command in the delivery of ICT services to the
frontline.
SAMS provides governance, assurance and compliance and
management services to the Command, including but not limited to:
 the provision of policy and advisory services relating to protective
security;
 the provision of governance services across the organisation’s ICT
investment and service delivery;
Divisional Purpose  development and continuous improvement of a strategic workforce
plan;
 development and continuous improvement of ICT frameworks,
policies and standards;
 management of ICT contracts;
 management of ICT vendors and the governance of service
performance; and
 business management and administration services for the
Command.
Develop and implement a workforce strategy and plan for the
Command aiming to the uplift of our capabilities in order to deliver ICT
Work Unit Purpose services to enable organisational outcomes.
Develop and implement a people engagement and communication
strategy and plan for the Command.
Key accountabilities The ICT Support Coordinator will contribute towards the development
and implementation of a workforce and people engagement strategy
and communication strategy and plan. The aim is to uplift existing
capabilities and enable the Command to deliver ICT services,
increasing employee engagement, information sharing and branding
within the Command.
This will be achieved by undertaking activities such as:
 Contributing towards the development and
implementation of a stakeholder engagement plan;
 Contributing towards the development, implementation
and continuous improvement of a communication strategy and
supporting plan;
 Actively participating in development of a People
Engagement strategy;
 Driving people engagement activities aimed at uplifting
engagement and productivity across the Command;
 Actively participating in the development of the
Workforce Strategy, the framework and implementation plan;
 Actively support the implementation of the Workforce
strategy;
 Actively support all HR functions/requirements within the
Command;
 Support the analysis and dissemination of monthly
reports within the Command:

required.
