Topic1: Write an expository essay in which you discuss the numerous causes, effects, and possible
solutions to eliminate the dangers of global warming.

Sample 1:
Title: Global Warming
I- Thesis Statement: Global Warming has various causes that destroy our planet and lead to
numerous lethal effects.
II- Body:
A- The causes of global warming.
1) The greenhouse gases like CO2, CH4, NO2 that are spread into the air and are forming a
depletion in the ozone layer.
2) Also, factories that don’t have filters are a main cause of pollution that leads to global warming.
3) Deforestation and cutting trees that make forests disappear and lead to the extinction of certain
species.
B- The effects of global warming.
1) Ice melts in polar caps which leads to the extinction of some species like polar bears and
penguins.
2) Climatic changes that increase the sea level and that lead to flooding.
3) Natural disasters like tornadoes, tsunamis, hurricanes and many other disasters that destroy our
Mother Nature.
C- In brief, we can solve this dangerous problem in different ways.
1) We can use bicycles and other environmental transportation means instead of cars, trucks, buses
and others.
2) We can also decrease the deforestation through cutting less trees and planting more to protect
our environment.
III- Conclusion: As a conclusion, global warming is a natural disaster that is destroying our planet
and man-kind.
