about a character that you like.

Based on the short story, Cheat! By Allan Baillie, the
character that I like is Lynne because she is gracious in
accepting defeat, hardworking and fair. This story is about
Lynne and Geoff who joined a short story competition and
Geoff won it. Lynne thought Geoff had cheated by copying
the story.

In the story, Lynne is gracious in accepting defeat. Although

she was disappointed, she congratulated Geoff sincerely on his
win.

Moreover, she is hardworking. She worked very hard to

write a dramatic story about a sheepdog in a flood.

Finally, she is fair. She did not feel good after receiving the
medal as she found out that Geoff did not cheat.

In conclusion, the character that I like is Lynne because

she is gracious in accepting defeat , hardworking and fair. It
makes this novel more natural and realistic.
