certificate.

Complete an Export Certificate of Airworthiness

Lesson 4 – Special Flight Permits
Original Lesson 4 Objective:
In accordance with FAA Orders 8000.95, 8130.2, 8100.8, and 8100.15, we will review the
procedures for issuing a Special Flight Permit. We will then have some interactive
questions about this process.

Lesson 5 – Replacement Airworthiness Certificate

In accordance with FAA Order 8130.2, we will review the procedures for replacing an
airworthiness certificate. We will have some interactive questions that apply to this
process.

Given a Prototype Conformity Inspection package presented to you as a Designee and
Representative of the Administrator, and in accordance with FAA Orders, CFRs, and
other applicable documents, you will review, identify errors as necessary, and complete
the required documents in the Prototype Conformity Inspection package.

Revised Lesson 4 Objective:


By the end of this lesson, students will be able to conduct a prototype conformity
inspection to judge whether the article or product is in compliance with 14 CFR Part 21
and FAA order 8110.4. They will also be able to explain and identify any unsatisfactory
conditions or discrepancies found and report their findings on FAA Form 8100-1.

Lesson 5 – Installation Conformity


Original Lesson 5 Objective:
Given an Installation Conformity package presented to you as FAA Designee/ODA Unit
Member, and in accordance with FAA Orders, CFRs, and other applicable documents,
you will review the Installation Conformity Inspection package and document any issues
or discrepancies on FAA Form 8100-1s.

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to conduct an installation conformity
inspection to judge whether the installation is in compliance with 14 CFR Part 21 and
FAA order 8110.4. They will also be able to explain and identify any unsatisfactory

Lesson 6 – TIA Ground Inspection

To introduce the Type Inspection Authorization process through course lecture and
discussion. The designees will understand their responsibilities within that process.
