Method

Please assign numbering to all the equations.

Please illustrate the overall method (framework) at the beginning of Section 2 with a flowchart. The
flowchart should clearly indicate the output from each step, and how does it link with the next step.

Please highlight what are the weaknesses, limitations, restrictions and weak points of this research
carried out by the authors

Case study

Please create a new section to present all the value parameter (input value) of case study. This is
important for the readers to replicate the study. Please move the value from method section to case
study.

Results and Discussions

CO2 and CO2e are two different things. Please do not use it interchange. Please check for all
instance, whether it is CO2, or CO2e

Line 400 – CO2e emissions could be a better term, instead of CO2 production

Some of the figure could be plotted in one figure, to have a better comparison. For example, the
power sales strategy for both solar and hybrid system.
Please clarify whether the power generation profile and power sales profile is the same thing. If yes,
better to use power generation profile, as this is a common term (even though the power generation
profile could be driven by the power sales strategy)

The analysis carried out by the author and also the presentation of results does not really justify why
a hybrid system is more superior. Please think about what is the baseline of comparison (e.g.,
individual solar plant or WI plant)? With that, all the discussion and analysis should focus on
comparing the hybrid against the baseline .

Figure 20 – comparison between hybrid and gas based plant. Why do you compare the hybrid and
gas based plant? The gas based plant was not being mentioned earlier as part of the research scope.
Also, what are the basic of comparison? Same power generation profile?

What could be the cost implication? Please consider to consider discuss and evaluate the financial
cost for the hybrid alternatives.

Conclusion

Please highlight what are the Technological Innovations, Policy Implications, Challenges and
Implication to implement the works
