Following is an illustrated example

BOB works with AD Ports, one of his

daily tasks is being a Shift Operator for
Marine Services Department

BOB has to manually communicate with all

Employees & Contractors to assign their
Shifts across all Ports via Emails, Phone etc

BOB also manages the re-assignments if

people fall sick, go-on leaves or are unable to
work on the Ports for specific period of time

BOB feels if assignment, scheduling & tracking could be auto managed on its own, then his team
& other stakeholders could save a lot of time. The process would be really fast as a snap

CASE STUDY
Ports Operations requires a lot of ground staff deployed across various fields of work, delivering 24
hours of continuous manpower through Shifts.

To manage everyone's shift categorically would be cumbersome tasks for each department

Furthermore, staffs do not have a medium of communicating back for any complaints, requests or
feedbacks to the Shift Administrator of each department

PURPOSE
A Unified System specifically built to bring Shift Assignments for all staffs under one single view

Letting the system, decide & automate assignment of all staffs based on Business Rules of each Port

Individual Shifts for each staff is sent via SMS, Email to their Phone/Mail Calendar. Any queries are
delicately handled by the system in a Chained Workflow

Reduce complexity, and ease to maintain the work hours. This portal can be used by Finance, Logistics
& HSE for their requirements related to Shifts

The System automatically creates Shifts in your Outlook/Gmail Calendar. You just need to respond with Accept/Decline when your
Shift starts. Alternatively, a Push Notification is sent to those who don't have access to Calendar

The Administrator just need to do a 1-Time Configuration for the Port. The systems picks up this configuration, while generating the
shift schedules for all resources
