The Product/ Services

Our Septic Tank Excavation Service specialized in the repair of foundation cracks, excavation work,
installation of septic tanks and septic fields. With septic tank excavation, you are improving the
functioning of your home for future use when it concerns your plumbing and drainage system. The
septic tank for your home is responsible for holding waste water and materials from your house. Going
with septic tank excavation allows the tank to be professionally pumped to ensure that you will have
sufficient room within the tank to continually hold water and waste. There are many things you should
know when it comes to septic tank excavation and having the tank professionally pumped. our
company also relies on the expertise of certified and qualified employees who know their field well.
We would be happy to assist you in any renovation or construction works.

In this view, we often ask how frequent cleaning of septic tank is. Actually, cleaning or
pumping septic tank frequency would really depend on the number of occupants of a
household or a building along with the gallon size of the tank. Generally speaking, it would
be as frequent as monthly services if it includes preventive maintenance. In accordance to
this catergory, here are some of our procedure we go through in cleaning your septic tank
system. Have it household or building:

 Step 1: Initial checks before pumping the septic tank has been always important.
 Step 2: All liquid and accumulated solids shall be removed from all compartments of the
septic tank. The water hose shall be used as an aid in loosening solids for removal.
 Step 3: During the cleaning operation, the following conditions of the tank shall be noted
and recorded on the pumping report to be provided to the property owner.
 Step 4: Upon completion of the cleaning operation, the manhole covers or top of the tank
shall be properly replaced and sealed.
 Step 5: Any minor spillage of waste resulting from the cleaning operation shall be cleaned
by rinsing with water. Major spillage shall be removed, disinfected, or buried. The
Environmental Health Service must be notified if the spill is significant, as defined in the
next section.

In regards to disposal of a septic tank waste gathered in our trunk will all be placed to our
sanitation facility located in Tagaytay city.

Siphoning Service
This is the main procedure in getting your septic tank maintained and in a good working
order. We perform this service by using a bent pipe or tube through which liquid can be
drawn off from one container to another at a lower level. This ask is also being performed
by our experts that has been doing the job well for years. With the use of our high-end tools,
we can guaranteed that the service will be done in hassle-free procedure and properly
taken cared off.
Declogging
A simple initial step must be taken to distinguish between an in-building plumbing problem
and an (outside) on-site waste disposal system problem.

Simply put, if a single building fixture is sluggish or clogged, but if other building fixtures
drain properly, you should suspect a local clog or vent problem at the individual fixture.

If all building drains are slow or clogged, or if waste is backing up into the building from the
lowest plumbing fixture, you would suspect the onsite waste disposal system.

Draining

In case of serious problem we have a heavy duty sewage pumps for draining of waste
water, mud and trunk. This is also being done by our experts who have been in the service
performing the task properly and professionally. We have a special tool like electric water
pump to draw off all the waterwaste from septic tank going through high-end tubes/host into
our container attached to our truck. We can even go extra mile beyond specific service you
avail just to make sure everything would be done accordingly and properly cleaned. Every
procedure we do is, of course, in a safety manner.
Septic Tank construction
Doing any heavy task can be heroic or crazy specially if you kind’a are new to it. Neither a
home-site nor a company building can be ruined by sloppy excavation and/or poor
sewerage system. In more than 50 years (since 1940's) spent designing site layouts and
septic system in the entire Metro Manila, not to mention some provincial areas, Malabanan
can rectify or even avoid those said construction flaws.

You can save money ( out from job repetitions ) and prove that we have mastered this
aspect of construction. Construction of septic tanks should always be handled by
professional and must conform with sewerage and sanitation provisions. It's one of the
professional services offered by Malabanan.

As of the process of constructing a septic tank, what we do is, first, evaluate the site -
scaling the map of the property. Next is classification of the soil. The most restrictive soil
type found in any of the pits in the area of the drainfield should guide your choice in the
case of mixed or confusing soils anywhere within the drainfield area. Then followed by
determinig the area of trench. Have it for your home or building.

Repair

Septic systems are plumbing systems. In this view, the concrete D-box has been placed
where it belongs and the effluent lines are being pushed into the seals. Although all the
other pipe joints are glued together, where the lines enter the tank and D-box, the pipes are
pushed into the special seals without glue. Older methods would require lines to be sealed
into D-boxes and tanks with concrete gout.

Distribution flow must be even and can be determined/test by pouring a bucket of water into
the box and rotating the seals to make the opening in each seal break the surface at the
same elevation. This evenly distributes the flow between the outlet lines leading to the
trenches.

Preventive

Proper maintenance of your septic system is important for efficient and long, trouble free
operation. Improper maintenance will lead to system failure, unsanitary conditions and
expensive repairs or replacement. One common misconception is, if there is not a problem,
no service is required. In fact, many septic additives are sold on this basis, making claims to
eliminate pumping.

Home and building septic systems are often ignored or thought of as merely a hole in the
ground for waste and dirty water. In reality, they are living, breathing, microbiological
factories responsible for digesting organic waste. This waste is converted into water, which
is filtered and purified before reentering potable ground water reserves, gases, and small
amounts of undigested septage. This remaining material will eventually build up to a point
where removal will be required. Without these living processes, septic systems would fill to
capacity in a short amount of time. These simple yet effective onsite waste water treatment
systems are used by every household and buildings in the country.

Hence, the key to maintaining a healthy and trouble free septic system is proper preventive
maintenance.

Installation

The first step in any septic installation is to perform a site survey and do a percolation (soil)
test on the area where the POWTS, Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems is going
to be installed.

The system then can be designed based on the findings of the survey and results of the soil
test. After all this is the installation of septic tank system pipes. Below are some of the
guidelines needed in installing a pipe lines for a septic tank system:

 Safety during sewer line or septic line excavation

 Recommended allowable slope for sewer or septic line piping
 Sewer or septic line trench specifications: uniformity, soil compaction, width
 Specifications for placing sewer or septic piping into the excavated trenches
 Recommended sewer line size (diameter) and slope
 Avoiding rocks, voids, using sand, protecting the new septic or sewer pipe from damage

Important: Guidelines and/or details may less differ if it is only replacement of pipes.
Drain Cleaning

Every tank that Kate Malabanan services is properly cleaned and inspected with a mirror and flash
light. The proper inspection of a septic tank is vital to prolonging the life of a septic system. Any
minor damages to the tank can be diagnosed and repaired avoiding unnecessary early failure to the
system.

Our line cleaning and clogging service can help you clear this sediment by: Penetrating and
emulsifying grease, Breaking up sludge and debris, Pulverizing roots, Cutting out hardened scale
and Flushing out the system. Aside from that, our Cable machines are used to remove tree roots and
break through solid obstructions. However, they are less effective in removing softer blockages such
as grease, scale and other buildup. Cable machines will bore holes through sludge but they can’t
clean and push the debris out of pipes as effectively as a water jet machine.

Septic Tank Pumping

The sludge at your tank’s bottom requires periodic septic cleaning or pumping. Even the best bacteria
can’t fully break down all organic material, meaning it will start to build up and take more of the
tank’s space. If there’s not enough room for water, the sludge will start to back up into leach field,
your home’s pipes or may cause a tank failure.

Homeowners can clean out their septic tanks, but you will need to store the sludge for transport and
safely dispose of it. Professional septic cleaners come with a tank truck that hooks up to your septic
system and removes its contents, then transports it all safely off your property.

Septic Drain Field and Repair

Proper sizing of the septic tank to allow for retention time, baffles, and an outlet filter are also
important. In addition, pumping the septic tank on a regular schedule of at least every three years is
critical. Cleaning the septic tank filter regularly and maintaining the biological activity in your septic
tank can help ensure that the septic system continues to function and absorb water in an
environmentally acceptable manner. The soil absorption area is the most expensive component of the
septic system.
Septic Cleaning and Maintenance
Septic systems cannot dispose of all the material that enters the system. Solids that are not broken
down by bacteria begin to accumulate in the septic tank and eventually need to be removed. The
most common reason for system failure is not having these solids removed on a regular basis.
Seepage from inadequate or failing septic systems can contaminate both ground and surface waters.
Malfunctioning septic systems are one of the leading causes of groundwater pollution.

The more complete the decomposition of your household waste the more efficiently and trouble free
a septic system functions. When a septic system is overloaded or not properly maintained, the
bacterial decomposition can slow or stop, causing untreated liquid and solid wastes to overflow into
the soil. Excessive use of bleaches, disinfectants and caustic or acid drain cleaners also deters the
bacterial action of the system, and greases and solids can build up until they choke the system and
block the flow of the liquid into the soil. When this happens, the drainage field may have to be dug
up and replaced – a costly undertaking.
