SCOPE OBJECTVE

The project scope objective under this contract is to carry out a multidisciplinary
asset integrity survey of the entire EOC facility to ascertain the fitness for
operational purpose of the plant. The scope not limited to but includes: Close
visual inspection, photographic, schematic, various methods of Non Destructive
Testing, on all vessels and auxilliaries, piping, instruments and electrical systems
and Leak/Hydro-pressure Testing surveys.
Inspection shall be carried out in conformity with international standards,
specification, company policy, and statutory regulations.

DETAILED SCOPE
The scope of work shall cover the following:

1. TANKS/VESSELS
a. A thorough Close visual, Photographic, Boroscopic (where applicable),
and schematic diagrams survey of each vessel externals/internals and
associated auxiliaries e.g. the insulation, the foundations, cathodic
protection, appurtenances, bolting, welds, demisters, piping, weirs, etc,
safety devices, etc. Findings as to the extent of damage or deterioration
shall be documented in the checklist for analysis, mapped on the
schematic diagram and correspondingly marked on the item.
b. Ultrasonic thickness measurement survey shall be performed on the
vessel walls, heads, and nozzles and associated piping to ascertain the
wall loss. Shear wave ultrasonic inspection shall also be performed on

several or suspected areas of welds for internal defects and also used for
confirmatory checks.
c. Magnetic Particle/Eddy current and Dye Penetrant inspection (where
applicable) shall be conducted on the weld boundaries of critical areas of
the vessels, and other components to check for surface cracks.
d. Hardness Mechanical Test shall be performed on vessels circumferential
welds, HAZ and parent materials to ascertain if they are still within the
material strength range.
e. Hydro pressure/Leak test shall be conducted on each of the vessel.

3. PIPELINES
a. A thorough Close visual, Photographic, and schematic diagram survey of
flanges, insulation, supports, expansion joints, drain lines, welds,
weldolets, safety and measurement devices, etc and other ancillaries
shall be performed on all flow lines, deluge lines, etc. Findings as to the
extent of damage or deterioration shall be marked and also indicate on
the diagram and document in the checklist for analysis.
b. Ultrasonic thickness measurement survey shall be performed on the
pipelines, fittings and connections to ascertain the wall loss.
c. Hardness Mechanical Test shall be performed sparingly on suspected
areas of pipe parent materials, HAZ and welds to ascertain if they are still
within the material strength range.
d. Hydro pressure/Leak test shall be conducted on the pipelines.

e. Ultrasonic A-Scan grid mapping inspection shall be performed on all the

evacuating pipelines to determine the wall loss and the internal conditions
of the pipe.

4. INSTRUMENTS/ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
a. A thorough Close visual, Photographic, Boroscopic (where applicable),
and schematic diagrams survey of each vessel externals/internals and
associated installations and fittings e.g. the insulation, the foundations,
bolting, welds, drainages, piping, instrument lines etc, safety devices and
other ancillaries. Findings as to the extent of damage or deterioration shall
be well documented in a comprehensive checklist for analysis.
b. Ultrasonic thickness measurement survey shall be performed on the
vessel walls, heads, and nozzles and associated piping to ascertain the
wall loss.
c. Dye Penetrant inspection shall be conducted on the weld boundaries of
critical areas of the vessels, other components and instrument lines to
check for cracks.
d. Hardness Mechanical Test shall be performed on vessels circumferential
welds, HAZ and parent materials to ascertain if they are still within the
material strength range.
e. Hydro pressure/Leak test shall be conducted on each of the vessel.

5. REPORT
a. Daily report shall be forward electronically to Client and contractor.
b. The Technical Report partly described on the work plan as the table of
content, shall include but not limited to all the results and inspection
summary describing the condition of the facility. The main results shall be
highlighted where necessary by tables; color coded schematic diagrams,
photographs, etc.
