June 2017 to August 2017
Digital Production Intern
Completed second internship with Doner Advertising in the Digital Production Department. Working alongside the
Director of Digital Operations and assisted in daily tasks such as expense reports, annual scopes, and organization of
digital projects entering and leaving the department. Assisted Digital Producers in completing digital projects working
with the Digital Developers and Designers. Created Estimates used to submit costs for client approval and invoicing.
Completed Timelines used to document the action steps for the assets being created involved in each project. Gained
deep understanding of overall Agency operations. Strong knowledge of FileMaker.
 Wrote and published on D/Construct, a Doner owned blog. Articles included topics on American Food Trends in
2018, Social Media related to Social Isolation, and social media influencers working with corporate companies.
 Won first place in Intern Group Project by creating and pitching to client, Bush Baked Beans, with full strategy and
creative executions alongside group of five interns.

CMLIFE NEWSPAPER, Mount Pleasant, MI April 2017 to May 2018


Advertising Account Director
Oversee a team of six Account Executives managing accounts. Assist executives in reaching monthly revenue goals and
their project planning. Able to effectively work alongside two co-directors and motivate teams by encouraging
communication and strategically leading. Additionally, manage personal accounts averaging $9,000 per month ($90,000
a school year).
 Laid out digital advertisements for newspaper for every issue before sent to Editorial.
 Led weekly meetings with entire staff on current sales and new business.
 Conducted advertising campaigns and media bundles for clients.
 Awarded Second Place for Best Advertising Manager 2018 by the College Media Business and Advertising Managers
Organizations.

Assistant Advertising Manager (Jan. - Apr. 2017)


Alongside Manager, oversaw a team of Account Executives managing accounts. Helped Executives create media bundles
and brand campaigns for clients. Created an additional weekly meeting to drive sales revenue and encourage new
creativity. Awarded “Most Encouraging in The Office”, “Highest Revenue Increase”, and “Most Ads Sold” among office
staff.

 Guided new Account Executives through training program.

 Managed a three-person team of Social Media Specialists creating specific content for Accounts.

Account Strategist (Mar – Dec. 2016)


Oversaw local accounts for the college newspaper. Developed and maintained new accounts, sold ad space for the
CMLife newspaper. Worked on accounts that developed websites for them. Managed and analyzed client needs for
company website or the ads being displayed. Experienced with large contracts and bundles. Awarded, “Most
Encouraging In The Office”.
 Independently managed over 30 Accounts averaging over $3,500 per month.
 Managed account for a popular restaurant/brewery creating 3 individual labels for craft beer and 2 websites.
 Sought out personal clients from around Michigan; prospected and added new accounts.
 Managed social media team creating content for clients.

 Accepted position for Fall 2018 Series.

Central Michigan Leadership Institute, Student Guide


 Selected to be a Student Guide for Leader Advancement Scholars Competition day for the Central Michigan
Leadership Institute for the 2017 and 2018 competition days. Fifty students receive the Leadership Advancement
Scholarship every year after an application process leading them to competition day, where they participate in
leadership activities and group interviews. As a student guide, closely observed a group of seventeen students
throughout the day. Monitored overall engagement, teamwork, creativity, and communication skills of the individuals.
My notes on the individuals are later factored into if they get selected into the program.

Spark Leadership Series, Participant


 A leadership series dedicated to developing leadership style and abilities for participants.

 Intensive 7-day leadership program focused on leading with integrity, value, and individuality.

 A four-day leadership camp for freshman entering CMU. Provides an opportunity for students to learn how to be
academically successful at CMU and meet faculty.


