Type <dir d*> then press <Enter> button. The screen bellow will appear.
Type the name of the directory where you saved the file that you want to print.
Example: the file name that I am looking is FYPICsep2009. And this is the path
-C:\Documents and Settings\PC1442\My Documents\FYPICsep2009
Type <cd> <space> <pc1442> then press <Enter> button. The screen bellow will
appear.
Type <cd> <space> <my documents> then press <Enter> button. The screen
bellow will appear.
Type <cd> <space> <fypicsep2009> then press <Enter> button. See the screen
bellow.
Type <dir> <space> </od> then press <Enter> button. The screen bellow will
appear. Note: /od means view as date modified. But the oldest file on the top and the
newest file bellow.
Note:
1. Before you begin printing, copy the P.EXE program to the folder where you saved
the files that you want to print using DOS.
2. The go to NetWare Services. Right click on the icon placed in toolbar menu.
5. Enter the network path to the printer: (Browse to the printer if you don’t know the
path). The screen bellow will appear.
6. Double click the network where the printer is connected. Example: PC1441.
7. The Screen bellow will appear.
8. Then Select the network resource: \\PC1441\Epson FX-1170 PC1441
9. Then click OK button.
10. The main screen will appear. See screen bellow.
Example: If the file name that you want to print is GEM dollar. Just type <p gemdol~1 1
<p gemdol+shift button –hold+press ~ button 1 1 then press <Enter> button. The Screen
bellow will appear. Note: make sure that you power on the printer and it is connected to
the right network resource.
To print selected pages, just press <arrow up> then change the pages that you
want to print. Ex. p gemdol~58 250 then press <Enter> button.
To print another copy, just press <arrow up> then press <Enter> button.
To printer another file name, just type <dir /od> then press <Enter> button. The
screen bellow will appear. Then repeat the same procedure.
These are the files in the main menu. Choose a file name to print.
Go to the NetWare Services. Right Click on the icon in the Toolbar Menu then click
Novell End Capture. See the screen bellow.
The screen bellow will appear.
