1 Trees - Providing and planting of plants as under noted varieties, with

height as specified in drawing and description, including excavation of
pit of size 1200 x 1200 x 1200 mm depth, removal of excavated earth
to desired location, application of anti - termite treatment @ 20 ml of
Chloropyriphos per tree on the walls & base of the pit, filling the pit with
soil mixture. Filled soil shall be free of sub soil stones, earth clods,
weeds or other objectionable matter. Manure to be well decomposed
farm yard manure/organic manure. It shall be free from sticks, paddy
strain stones, earth, weed, seed, extraneous matter, harmful bacteria.
insects or chemicals; supply, transport & mixing of soil improvement
nutrients as required in all pits including DAP, Urea, Neem cake,
Mustard cake etc. as per good horticulture practices; flooding with
water at least 20ltr per tree, planting & staking (with a 6' high bamboo
dipped in charcoal, out of which 2' to be inside soil) in full and final
location. The trees may be planted individually in rows or in cluster as
per direction in drawing and all plant material and its sizes and
height/girth and crown should be shown to the landscape architect
/EIC and written approval to be sought before planting.
Rate shall also include Bamboo Stacking for all big trees.

5.04 The tapping point shall be as specified.
5.05 Pipes used shall be standard ISI pipes of Prince, Supreme capable of
wihstanding upto 4 kg / cm2 pressure.

6 Maintenance - Labour rate only for maintaining above

horticultural work for a further period of 6 months after completion of
free maintenance period.
Rate to include labour charges for services like daily watering,
weeding, cleaning , replanting if mortality occurs, lawn cutting , Item
fertilizing and sprinkling pesticides etc. at regular interval as may
be necessary. Cost of materials like fertilizer, pesticides will be
borne by the contractor.
