General Progress

Devan has worked well to the best of his ability this semester. He has improved his playing in
different area, and has made average progress this semester.

Technical Development

Devan can now maintain his finger action on left hand when playing chords or melodies. His
embouchure still requires more work, but he now able to play the pitch notes nicely. He need to work
on being more as well as developing complete control of tone and volume on right hand.

Sight Reading

Devan’s sight-reading is good developing. He can read, at moderate speed, crochet notes and quaver
notes, but has real easily when read the melodies as well as prima vista.

Attendance

Devan has attended about ninety fifth percent of his guitar lessons this year, which is well above the
expected number. He must make more of an effort to remember when his guitar lessons are.

Attitude
Devan has a nice attitude to learning in the class. He always to bring her guitar, and brings the right
book or song papers to the lessons.

Kent can now maintain his finger action when playing slurs and the barre or half-barre. He has been
able to pitch notes in higher positions; finger movement on chords progress; and major scales in two
octaves. He must work to develop both the aural awareness and finger coordination to produce a
flowing line in simulation of the voice.

Kent’s sight-reading is developing fast, largely because he does spend enough time playing different
kinds of music. He can read, at fast speed, dotted notes, semi-quavers, and ornament notes. He has
real easily when performing passages of music with syncopated rhythmic patterns.
