intake. Such violation is liable to
imposition of penalties as per Article-
8 of PEC Regulations for Engineering

The university is also advised to adopt

Decision:
The compliance report submitted by HEI was presented before the Committee and
after due deliberation, based on satisfactory compliance, one year accreditation
was granted i.e., Intake Batch 2011-12 only. Further; as identified, the labs must
be established before the next re-accreditation request.

The house was informed that as per PEC 86th EA&QEC/EAB decision, re-accreditation
for Intake Batch 2014 of B.E Electrical (Telecommunication/Electronics) program of IoBM,
Karachi was deferred and intake from Fall-2018 was also stopped due to serious
deficiencies. Further, HEI was advised to submit the compliance report within six months.
The HEI has submitted compliance report and requested to review the EA&QEC/EAB
decision.
Decision:
After detailed deliberation on the compliance submitted by HEI, the house granted
re-accreditation for one year i.e Intake Batch-2014 only and was also allowed
admission/intake w.e.f Fall-2018.
