2. Member and service provider administrator Meetings.

a. Rolled out the meetings countrywide (Bulawayo, Gweru, Masvingo, Mutare)

Overall Member Adminstration statistics

• 76% of the invited members attended the workshop.

• 89% responded to the questionnaires administered at the workshop

• Of those that responded:

o 99% benefited from the meetings

o 53.5% rated the workshop good while 46.5% said they were very good

o 49% indicated that they faced challenges using the Cimas card, 43% said they did not while 8% were
not sure.

o 47% of the members said they were facing problems accessing the online drug facility, 27% indicated
that they were not encountering problems while 12% said they had problems accessing specialist
services, 3% said they had problems accessing Cimas clinics and 11% had problems accessing hospitals

o 25% indicated that queries were being attended to on time, 58% disagreed while 17% was not sure.

o 61% agreed to timeous claims payment, 27% disagreed while 12% was not sure.

o 43.2% rated the meeting as very good while the rest thought it was good

3. Research

a. Base of the Pyramid Needs Assessment Research – Phase one has been completed. Consultant now
working on the second phase. Below are the timelines

b. Customer Satisfaction Survey and Mystery shopper – On going, final results to be presented end of
March 2018.

4. Product Development

a. Compulsory +CD for all individual members – The additional premium has been effected, and is
expected to contribute to the reduction of the claims loss for this group.

b. Embed +CD for all the packages – Finalising proposal, to be implemented on the 1st of April 2018

c. GTC pricing structure – reviewed the pricing to incorporate the age-related risk and ensure that the
package is competitive in the market. Currently working on a discount structure for Cimas members.

d. Studymate local –. The package is meant to accommodate tertiary institutions with smaller numbers
that do not qualify for special schemes.

e. High-end, Local package – Finalising product, to launch in Q1. Package accommodate Deluxe
members who have failed to remit contributions to Mauritius. This will also attract other members that
can afford to pay a premium for a no shortfall cover within a defined network
