Dear Hon. Lisa Murkowski, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chairman

I know you are a person of high moral standards, although I disagree on your turning a blind eye to
effective actions to solve Alaska’s critical fiscal crisis that has come from dependence on fossil fuel
extraction and revenue sharing boom that is coming to an end. Can we meet and talk over coffee or
tea? I will come to Washington just for you, if you will indulge me for an hour.

Notwithstanding that difference of opinion, I expect you to stand up to the privileged white male
dominance in the Senate and seriously question Brett Kavanaugh’s moral integrity and bald face lies.
Senator Grassley made a horrendous error on the record in front of millions of us Americans glued to
our TVs and laptop screens. He accused Dr. Ford of stating in error that there were four other boys in
the room besides Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. Judge Kavanaugh has explained that his
diary/calendar is both forward looking and backward looking … the entry for July 1, 1982 lists five other
boys, but it is entirely plausible that one of the boys expected to join the ski’s drinking gathering did not
show, or departed before Dr. Ford's arrival, or may have been puking in the toilet. Senator Grassley
made an unfounded statement, unbecoming of a Senator, let alone Chair of the Judiciary Committee.

Stand up and call him out. The information we have before us is self evident. Brett is not fit.

Mark Judge's college girlfriend is willing to talk to FBI and Senate about his disturbing confession

When Dr. Christine Blasey Ford came forward about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh trying to
rape her when they were both in high school, the backlash was strong and swift. The entire political
response from Kavanaugh supporters has been a complete sham from the beginning. Republicans are
trying to make it a “he said, she said” scenario, when in fact there are actually many witnesses available
to corroborate the reports of the nominee’s behavior.

There have been a lot of questions about Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh’s close high-school friend. Dr.
Ford says Judge was in the room during the attack, but he hasn’t been called to testify.
The Republicans’ decision to essentially ignore Mark Judge got even more suspicious when the New
Yorker interviewed Elizabeth Rasor, who had been his girlfriend in college. She said that Judge has been
lying about his time with Kavanaugh at Georgetown Prep.

Rasor stressed that “under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t reveal information

that was told in confidence,” but, she said, “I can’t stand by and watch him lie.” In
an interview with The New Yorker, she said, “Mark told me a very different story.”
Rasor recalled that Judge had told her ashamedly of an incident that involved
him and other boys taking turns having sex with a drunk woman. [Emphasis
added.] Rasor said that Judge seemed to regard it as fully consensual. She said
that Judge did not name others involved in the incident, and she has no knowledge
that Kavanaugh participated. But Rasor was disturbed by the story and noted that
it undercut Judge’s protestations about the sexual innocence of Georgetown Prep.

Rasor sounds like she knows a lot of information that could be helpful in getting the bottom of this. This
confession Rasor describes sounds very similar to what Julie Swetnick, who says she was gang-raped by
a group of boys that included Brett Kavanaugh, wrote in her affidavit.

The Washington Post reports that yesterday Rasor’s attorney sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary
Committee saying that she is willing to testify to them under oath and speak to the FBI. The letter
states, in part:

Ms. Rasor’s recollection of what occurred is stated accurately in the New Yorker
piece and she would welcome the opportunity to share this information with
agents of the FBI as part of a re-opened background investigation.

No wonder Mark Judge is hiding out.

Shunning witnesses does nothing but undermine the investigation. There needs to be an FBI
investigation, and more witnesses need to be called in front of the committee before there is even a
thought of a vote.
