This year, Spain’s international tile fair attracted visitors from 145 different countries
– we round up the highlights and spot the upcoming trends

The Solaire by Luca Nichetto ceramic wall and
floor tile collection consists of two shapes, six
patterns, and six colours in four sizes – 900 x
900mm, 449 x 449mm, 224 x 224mm and
111 x 111mm. The name Solaire means ‘solar’ in
French, referring to the fact that a variety of effects
can be achieved with the light and dark tiles by
mixing and matching them in different combinations

Saloni Ceramica returned to the fair once again and
introduced four new collections: Street-Art,
Olympos, Textural, and Bernini. The Bernini wall tiles
are inspired by travertine marble and pictured below
on the walls are 400 x 1200mm Gloss Crema and a
strip of lace-effect 400 x 1200mm Trina Crema, also
pictured inset in Grey with Ripa in Gloss Crema

Pamesa’s Coeur collection is another result of its
20-year collaboration with the designer Agatha Ruiz
de la Prada, who is a fan of vibrant colours. The 250
x 250mm tiles come in white, turquoise, pistachio,
yellow, orange and carmine. Also being showcased
on the company’s stand were the designer’s Mille
Cuori tiles, that are available in the same tones

FS BRIATI EXHIBITION

The new FS Briati tile from the FS by Peronda collection is the result of a partnership
between Peronda and designer Francisco Segarra, who is renowned for his vintage
style. The plain tiles have cement effects that give these 452 x 452mm tiles an
industrial edge, while the décor tiles look like four smaller tiles that have been worn
over time. They can be mixed and matched in random compositions

COVERLAM
Grespania

Grespania says that its large-format Coverlam
porcelain tiles are the result of years of research
and development. Available in sizes up to 1200 x
3600mm and with a minimal thickness of 3.5mm,
the tiles come in a variety of finishes including
Calacatta, Travertino and Concrete. Coverlam is

NASSAU

The mixing-and-matching trend was in
evidence on the Vives stand, as demonstrated

MINIMAL CHIC AND


SHAPES
Dune

Dune was back at Cevisama after a seven-year
hiatus, and brought with it its new Minimal Chic
collection, which features two finishes – cement
finish Factory, and marble finish Emporio,
pictured above. Sizes range from 200 x 200mm
décor tiles to 300 x 600mm wall tiles, and
600 x 600mm and 600 x 1200mm floor
tiles. The Shapes collection, pictured right in
the Stripes decor, is inspired by origami and
designed to provide endless combinations and
patterns with plain or mixed patchwork designs

Peronda Group’s Museum brand showcased its first wood-effect
tile collection – Sherwood Oak 4D – that uses its exclusive
4D technology to produce varying shades of colour and a
high-resolution finish. The Sherwood Oak 4D collection comes
in a choice of five colours: Cognac, Ebony, Honey, Kalua, and
Porto, pictured below

GRANITH

Neolith was showcasing Granith – its collection
of natural granite surfaces – as well as the various
residential and commercial applications of its
sintered stone products. On display were a set of
combinations with designs inspired by marbles such
as Nero Marquina or Blanco Carrara, wood effects
such as La Bohème, stones such as Zaha Stone and
industrial-inspired designs such as Concrete Taupe

COTTOBELLO

Natucer introduced Cottobello, its new range
of porcelain floor and wall tiles that have a
rustic, irregular surface in a semi-gloss finish.
They are available in two colourways – Terra,
pictured top far right, and Azzuro, pictured
bottom far right – while the wall tiles are also
available in Blu and Paglia. The tiles come
in either plain or patterned versions, both
pictured right in Azzuro
