2019 PAAOMPT Annual National Conference

“Promotion of excellence and unity in clinical and academic standards for

manual and orthopedic physical therapy”

The Philippine Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (PAOMPT), a SIG of the of the
Philippine Physical Therapy Association and a RIG of the International Federation of Orthopedic
Manipulative Physical therapy, is accepting proposals for its 2019 Annual National Conference in Manila,
Philippines. PAOMPT is the only professional organization representing orthopedic manual physical
therapists in the Philippines. The purpose of the Annual Conference is to foster advancements in
orthopedic and manual physical therapy practice, research, and education. We will accept proposals
through December 31, 2018. Speaking at the PAOMPT Annual National Conference is a great opportunity
to share your knowledge and enthusiasm. Proposals that support this year’s “Promotion of excellence
and unity in clinical and academic standards for manual and orthopedic physical therapy” conference
theme and represent transformative, bold vision and innovation are strongly encouraged.

PAOMPT encourages speaker participation and the association offers incentives such as free registration
and honoraria for selected sessions. For selected sessions, we will offer flat honorarium that can be
divided among the speakers (if more than 1 speakers) of that session in whatever manner those speakers
decide. Hotel accommodation for 2 nights (Friday night and Saturday night) will be provided by PAOMPT.
Travel arrangements will be the responsibility of the speakers.

PTs and all others with expertise in the topic of their presentation are welcome to submit a proposal for
this conference.

Programming sessions are either 1, 2 or 4 hours in length, with possible breaks. Depending on the
perceived popularity of a topic, we may request that you offer it twice, as we will have multiple sessions
running concurrently. Offering a presentation twice may increase the number of options for attendees to
get the information they’re seeking.
