Key Understanding: -Students have had previous lessons on the learning points in this

Learning Point(s): Students wondered at the creators of communities and
celebrated what God provides for communities.

Some students can identify the 3 ways how Jesus taught
members of the Church community to draw on God’s
power.
Students have looked at bible passages of these
teachings eg. [John 20:22–23]. And participated in a
Godly Play of the last supper.

“Let’s begin with ways we can hear God’s power in Church. When I am in
Church, I hear God’s power during the Priest’s homily. It reminds that we
come to Church to learn lessons of how to love like Jesus did and to
become closer to God.”
Handing out post it notes for students to write their responses in a personal
space in the classroom and then place it under the heading when they are
done.
Once the sticky notes have been collected, visualise them with the class
and reaffirm the teaching that Jesus created the Church so that we can
have these experiences of coming closer to God in our Church community.
To finish the lesson, take the students through a guided meditation using
calming music to review the lesson and to get students thinking about their
next Church experience.
