This section lists the new features in Aspen Utilities 11.1, splitting them into principal new
features and other features.

The release also includes a number of software fixes, which are outlined in the section Software
Fixes, later.

• Support for Windows 2000

The other (lesser) new features in this release are:

New Unit Operation Models

The following new models have been included:


• Air Chiller
• Supplementary Fired Heat Recovery Steam Generator
• Drive List
In addition, all steam inlet ports have been upgraded to multi-ports.

Data Reconciliation dialog box

The Data Reconciliation dialog box now supports:


• Selection of all variables, from blocks and streams, that are part of the simulation
• Long block and stream names with non-alphanumeric entries

Optimization Settings

Optimization settings can now be accessed from within Aspen Utilities.
