After finishing fixing cable tray, we will start pulling the armoured cables from
trasnformer to MSB and from MSB room to all concerned Electrical rooms one
by one, with more care to avoid any damage for cable, after that it will be tied
strongly with cable tie / cable belts and will be terminated to MDB, SMDB and
DB with proper gland and earth tags etc.

* Approved cables are only used for installation

* No joints in the tray unless the length is more than 200meter

* Proper cable jack, rollers etc to be used for cable laying

CABLE TERMINATION AND GLANDING

* Ensure that all termination and glanding are made by appropriate and
qualified personnel.

* Cut all cable end immediately prior to jointing or terminating. Seal cables left
unconnected for more than 24 hours to prevent the ingress of moisture

* Stripe cable to bring out the cores and expose conductors, for minimum
length required for connection. Ensure that stands are not damaged when
stripping cable cores. Twist strands together. Do not reduce the strand. Secure
all strands at terminations.
