Multi-asset price update 2
Market outlook: The SET went down yesterday along with regional indices Commodities daily price update 3
from a shift in regional portfolio allocation back to US equities. The shift is Market update 6

uneven, with different directions in the S&P500 and NASDAQ (fund inflows Short sales 8
supported stocks that benefit from trade). However, we see this retracement as Director trade 9
S-T. The positives in the SET will limit fund outflow from now on. We see Corporate calendar 10

Agreement on NAFTA spurred fund shift to US stocks. The SET underwent a
sell-off yesterday, as did US stock market, but in differing directions: S&P500
flat, NASDAQ -0.5%, Russeell2000 -1.0% and DJIA +0.5% (supported by Boeing and Technical supports and resistances*
Caterpillar). VIX closed up 0.4% and MSCI Thailand ETF closed down 0.7%, 1765 R2
following the SET. 1760 R1
Domestic factors remain strong, limiting the downside risk from fund 1748 SET
outflow. These include: 1) upcoming general election; 2) strong economy after 1740 S1
BoT governor said he expected 2018 GDP growth at 4.4%, the highest in 10
years, supporting corporate earnings; 3) rising bond yield, which will bring in 1735 S2

more funds. We see this retracement as an opportunity to accumulate. SET index series

Currencies The dollar continued to move up in late trading Tuesday as British pound and euro turned weaker. In late

Commodities Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose sharply on
Tuesday as the dispute over Italy's budget deficit sent euro and European stocks lower, triggering safe-

MC MC reported that subsidiary Luke Balance purchased 45% of McMillion for Bt11.25mn. The
process will complete in October. The acquisition will open the way for it to invest in a warehouse for online

PK PK has budgeted Bt420mn to set up factory and improve existing machines to support new
orders of Bt1.5bn, adding to the current Bt4.5bn. Setup and improvement are expected to be complete at

PORT PORT is joining with Mitrphol Group to set up JV to establish a commercial international port. The
