    This borehole log summarizes the soil composition and properties at a residential building site in Sasthamangalam, Kerala, India. A hand auger boring was conducted from July 16-18, 2018 to a total depth of 5 meters. The water table was found to be at 0 meters from ground level. The soil composition consisted of brown silty fine sand from 0-1.5 meters, brown silty fine and medium sand from 1.5-3 meters, and brown silty fine, medium and coarse sand from 3-5 meters. Standard Penetration Tests were conducted to analyze soil properties.
