On February 21, 2018, The Philippine Delegation of the Company of Mary gathered in thanksgiving to
the Lord for the gift of religious life especially to Fr. Paul Arnel Lucero, SMM; Fr. Reynaldo B. Bullas, Jr.,
SMM and Fr. Nelson M. Cabanero, SMM on their 25 th Anniversary of living out the Montfortian Religious
Vows. The event was held and hosted by the Collegians Community at Timog, Quezon City. The
celebration started at around five o'clock in the afternoon through a Thanksgiving Mass which was
presided by Fr. Nelson Cabanero and co- celebrated by the Montforian Priests. In the Mass the three
jubilarians have renewed Religious Vows forever which was received by Fr. Richard Magararu, SMM, with
his Council. This grace-filled moment were witnessed by the different Montfortian communities: the
Collegians, Novices, Scholastics, Cebu, Dagupan, Bulacan and Santa Teresita, together with the
Daughters of Wisdom, our Lay Associates, the Association of Mary Queen of all Hearts, families, friends,
and visitors. Towards the end of the Holy Mass, the community offered a send-off prayer for Fr. Nelson,
as he is preparing for his new mission in the United Kingdom. After the Mass, the Dinner with a Program
followed where every communities have offered their greetings to the jubilarians through creative
presentations which have touched the hearts of the celebrators and the crowd. The celebrators had also
shared their messages to all that made all of us grateful to the Lord for the many blessings especially for
the gift of religious life. Everyone have enjoyed and overwhelmed by the celebration as there were some
surprised presentations that were performed by the guests. It was indeed a day filled with the graces of
the Lord as we all celebrate this year of the Clergy and Consecrated persons.
