OR, NOR. IF, BECAUSE
AND expresa unión o compañía. Conecta palabras
o frases de igual función gramatical:

conjunction? The queen and the princess. La reina y la princesa .
BUT expresa contraste entre dos ideas:
It is a word which permit
us connect words and The queen is blonde but the princess is brunette: La
sentences reina es rubia pero la princesa es morena.
OR introduce una alternativa:
• Is she a queen or a princess? ¿Es ella una reina o
una princesa?
• I want a queen or a princess. Quiero una reina o
una princesa
NOR. Alternativa negativa. She is not ugly nor
pretty. Ella no es ni fea ni bonita.
IF. Condicional. If you want (si quieres). If you are
free (Si estás libre).
BECAUSE. Introduce una razón (reason). Because
she is sick. (porque está enferma).

ASKING FOR
SUBJECT Para preguntar por el sujeto (subject),
generalmente se usa WHO + TO BE en singular +
predicado:
We are in class every day
Sub. To be (aux.) place frequency
Who is in class every day?. We are (quién está en clase todos los días? Nosotros)
ACTIVITY
1. Haga las posibles preguntas informativas: Place, reason,
etc.
Tony is not in class in the morning because he is sick
Sub. To be (aux.) place time reason
Exact time What time (a qué hora) Hora exacta. (a tal hora)
Price How much (cuánto cuesta) Precio, cantidad (cuánto, costo de algo)
