The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Senior Solutions Architect takes ownership of technology related
aspects of RPA implementation as part of a client solutions, mobilization, internal initiative or other
special program within Avanades Intelligent Automation organization. Following Avanade
methodologies and industry best practices, this role will be accountable for recommending appropriate
technology solutions and delivering architectural and technical solution designs and client proposals.
These goals will be achieved leveraging our global network, working together and openly sharing ideas,
knowledge and resources
Partner closely with our Intelligent Automation team and RPA Solution Architects to translate the
customer's business requirements to define RPA value proposition and solution scope
Recommends RPA approach and strategy based on analysis and client RPA maturity
Provides continuous advice and best practices to RPA developers and Project Manager related to
delivery approach and strategy
About you
Youre an excellent communicator with the ability to listen and understand client needs, then help shape
a solution. You have automation experience that covers business acumen, time management skills and a
passion for learning. Youre adept at process assessments, and you understand applications of RPA in
different business domains. You are able to communicate complex concepts while managing client
expectations and conveying the strength and benefits of Microsoft technologies for our clients.
Qualifications
Expertise in at least one of market leading RPA platforms: Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI
Path and deep understanding of RPA end-to-end process automation technology and
architecture concepts
Process documentation and analysis (PDD, SDDs), including specification of system
requirements for business processes (data, presentation, and logic)
Previous experience in business analysis and process re-engineering
Strong problem solving, analysis, and design skills; experience with onshore / off-shore teams
Presentation skills with ability to communicate at executive level
7+ years of consulting project management experience
7+ years of direct people management experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or technology-related field

The RPA capability as part of the wider automation capability will primarily focus on:
Partnering with Enabling Solutions RPA leadership to evolve the RPA offering
Work with business and functional leadership to advise on how to best use RPA to
achieve their objectives
Help the Business Unit / Corporate Center identify and prioritize specific RPA
opportunities
Develop and implement RPA solutions
Mentor, coach and develop RPA capability in the Business Unit / Corporate Center
Working closely with the RPA Center of Excellence, the Automation Lead engages and advises
business and functional leaders and process owners to determine how to best utilize RPA to meet
their objectives. The incumbent will utilize his/her knowledge of Prudential businesses and RPA
to help determine when to apply RPA technology as the best means to improving a specific
process versus other possible solutions. He/she will assist the business in identifying and
prioritizing specific RPA opportunities, using financial acumen and business knowledge to aid in
prioritization. The incumbent will determine the optimal RPA technology for a specific
opportunity and develop, test and implement the RPA solution, adhering to standard practices
and re-use strategies as appropriate. He/she will build RPA capability within multiple business
customer organizations through collaboration, coaching, advising and leadership. The
incumbent will serve as a resource for questions from both systems and business communities
and will maintain a high degree of knowledge of the business group processes, procedures,
priorities, and business goals. The RPA Solutions Lead will be regarded as the technical expert
in their particular field.
This role will require the lead to build out a full automation suite beyond RPA moving in to IPA
and building additional Automation verticals enabling with business and IT in to the future. The
initial focus will be on RPA and IPA but will then move quickly to building a world class
automation capability for Pramerica Services to enable Prudential.
