( 3 ) Transfer function

The transfer pump (4), which rotates in both directions,
enables fuel to flow from one group of tanks to the other.
It draws fuel from and discharges fuel into the feeder 1 2
tanks. When the control switch (3) is set to "ON" (to the
left to transfer fuel into the LH group, to the right to trans-
fer fuel into the RH group) the indicator light (1 or 2)
corresponding to direction is lit.

The pressure switch closes the indicator light (FILT) cir-


cuit for P1 - P2 > 300 mbar. The indicator light comes on P1 FILT
"filter starts to clog".
,P > 300 mb
Should the filter fully clog the bypass opens for ,P greater
than 800 mbar and the telltale pops out.

filter is starting to clog.

If the filter clogs completely, the bypass valve opens when
