Nephros DSU-D – Dialysis Installation Instructions

PARTS LIST - Connect a quick connector to the free end of the old hose to
serve as the DSU-D filter inlet.
Filter Mounting
- Snap a DSU-D into the wall mount clamps.
- Place the filter and clamps vertically against the wall in the
DSU-D In-Line Filter position they will be mounted (see photo).

LOCATION

- Turn on the water supply and prime the DSU-D to drain via 201-343-5202

Bicarbonate Loop Installation
- Turn off the bicarbonate pump.
- Disconnect the supply line from the bicarbonate tank at the
inlet to the distribution loop and replace it with a new hose to
avoid potential back-contamination of the filter.
- Connect a quick connector to the free end of the line from the
tank outlet.
- Perform the Filter Mounting steps.
- Connect the inlet and outlet quick connectors as per the
diagram.
- Turn on the bicarbonate pump. Prime the DSU-D to drain via
the sample port for several minutes to purge air out of the
filter.
- Following installation it is recommended to disinfect the lines
downstream of the DSU-D as per standard clinic procedures.
- The DSU-D is compatible with typically used disinfectants.
