1 Identify the existing/proposed
area for Manifold installation.

2 Inspect and measure the
available space for existing
manifold area
3 Take the measurement of the
existing manifold piping
configuration
4 Verify the number of manual
valves on each of the manifold
ligaments as well as other piping
components
5 Inspect the piping components
(straight run of piping, manual
valves, etc) for reusability, hence
identify potential hazards in
continuous usage of the existing
manifold.(Take Pictures)
6 Check whether the existing 4 Nos
of 8 inch headers can be reused
for the proposed manifold
fabrication. Perform visual
checks for external corrosion,
leaks from the header flanges,
cracks etc. Identify potential
hazards (If any) in reusing the
existing 8 inch headers (Take
Pictures)

7 Check the existing manifold skid
whether it can be reused for new
manifold fabrication. Do a visual
checks to identify any form of
deformation on the manifold skid
beam
8 Verify whether the existing piping
components on each skid of the
inlet manifold are welded or
flanged. Identify welding points (if
any) as well as flanged points.
9 Obtain Geo technical information
(soil bearing capacity, etc.) of the
existing manifold area to verify
for additional reinforcement (if
required(
10 Measure the arrangement of
existing valves, piping
components on each of the
manifold ligaments
11 Check the existing operator
access to the manifold area
…(identify for walkways, ladders

12 Check for drop objects issues
around the manifold replacement
areas
13 Identify any constructability
issues or constraints.
