1.Form a group consisting of a member from each grade level.
2. Using the learning target assigned to your group, create an iceberg poster showing the
manipulatives and representations that students would need to know along the way to get to
the tip of the iceberg. Try to identify them as informal, pre-formal, and formal (or concrete,
representational, abstract).
Supplies available:

facts. Recognize and generate equivalent decimals,
fractions, mixed numbers, and improper fractions in
various contexts.
You will have 30 minutes to create your poster. When the timer beeps we will
display the posters and have a gallery walk.
