I am looking to apply for your English Composition l position as a writer. I was notified of the
opening through a flyer that was personally given to me in the class. I know that this position
and the responsibilities it comes with will greatly aid my writing career in the future.

Throughout my time as a student, I have developed multiple skills that qualify me for this
position. I have worked on everything from persuasive articles to scientific research papers in
my time. I am well trained in many different subject areas. During my sophomore year, I wrote
a formal argumentative paper on the U.S. educational system, while at the same time writing
an informational paper in my chemistry class. Not to mention that I have achieved high overall
grades (97% or higher) in my past English classes. On my pretest, I found I did well on many
sections including the active/passive voice section. Please feel free to contact me at any time
