Minimum Requirements
 A completed application submitted to your counselor by Thursday, June 3rd
 Minimum of a “C” academic average for the performing arts pathways and
sports academy
 Minimum of a “B” academic average for the law studies pathway and science,
technology, and robotics academy
 Minimum of a “C” in conduct
 Regular and timely school attendance
 No more than one suspension

 Art Pathway: Short written response
On a separate sheet of paper, respond to the following question: Why is art
important?
 Drama Pathway: Audition (Week of June 6th)
 Law Studies Pathway: Two-minute oral presentation (Week of June 6th) and short
written response
On a separate sheet of paper, respond to the following question: If you could
have dinner with anyone famous (alive or dead), who would it be and why?
What would you want to discuss and why?
 Music Pathway: Short oral presentation (Week of June 6th)
In person, you will be asked to orally respond to one or more of the following
questions:
1. Why is music a priority for you?
2. How do you express your love for music?
3. Why should you be part of the music program?

Respective pathway lead teachers will announce and post schedules for auditions and
oral presentations.

I understand that spaces in an academy are limited and that I may not be admitted to
an academy even if I meet the minimum requirements.

I understand that, if after I am accepted to an academy, I fail to meet the academic,

behavioral, attendance, or active participation requirements of the academy, I will be
withdrawn from the program.
