Setting up an Office 365 lab environment

• Se tendrá que crear una cuenta para administrar el servicio

de Office 365, utilizando la siguiente información:

• Poseer correo personal de Microsoft Hotmail, Outlook o msn. (se

puede utilizar la cuenta de correo de la Universidad)
• Al momento de crear el dominio Adatum en Office 365,
estructurarlo de la siguiente forma:
Adatumyyxxxxx
Ejemplo: AdatumJP101213

• Task 1: Create an Office 365 Enterprise E5 trial subscription

• On your computer, on the taskbar, click Internet Explorer.
• In the address bar, type https://aka.ms/v2jy2f, and then press Enter.
• Click Free trial.
• For Step 1, in the Welcome, let's get to know you page, complete the
following fields. Regardless of your location, use the following information:
• Country: United Kingdom
• First name: Holly
• Last name: Spencer
• Business email address: Use your Microsoft personal email address account
that you have created.
• Business phone number: Use your mobile phone number, including the
international code, for the country/region that you are really in.
• Company name: A. Datum
• Organization size: 50-249 people
• Click Next.

• For Step 2, on the Create your user ID page, create a unique domain for the company
name to use in the course in the form of Adatumyyxxxxx. You can use your two primary
initials followed by a unique five-digit number. For example, Adatum AB12345. This will be
your unique Adatum number throughout the course. For the rest of the fields, use the
following information:
• User name: Holly
• Company name: Adatumyyxxxxx (where yyxxxxx is your unique Adatum number)
• Password: Create a password that meets the complexity requirements. Document Holly's
password.
• Confirm password: Type the same password
• Click Create my account.
• For Step 3, on the Prove. You're. Not. A. Robot. page, confirm your identity by using your
mobile phone. Under Text me, from the drop-down box, select the code for the
country/region that you are really in.
• In the Phone number box, enter your correct mobile phone number.
• Ensure that the Text me option is selected, and then click Text me.
• When you receive the confirmation text on your mobile phone, enter the code provided into
the Enter your verification code box.
• Click Next.

• Wait until the Office 365 tenant is provisioned, note your sign in data,
and then click You're ready to go.
• Click the Admin tile to go to the Office 365 admin center. If
the Confirm your current password page appears, click Re-enter my
password, and then type Holly's password.
• If the Welcome to the admin center window appears, close it.
