Appendix 11:

Jessica had a splashing battle with her brother at the beach. It was so warm outside
in the sun that the water drops dry from her skin dried within minutes. She was
happy when her Mum gave her some water that had ice cubes inside the cup. 6
months later, Jessica was making snow angels in her backyard. When she got too
cold, she went into her warm house. Her mum gave her a mug of steaming hot
chocolate.
Even though the seasons were different, Jessica enjoyed the water in all three of its
physical states solid liquid and gas. How did Jessica enjoy solid water during the
summer? How about during the winter? How did Jessica enjoy water as a liquid and
gas during each season?
