BT Vision Quick Start Guide
Getting your BT Vision service up-and-running is easy. This guide tells
you more about what you get with your BT Vision service and how to
install the different elements.

We want your installation to be as smooth as possible so please follow

the steps outlined in this guide.

Install your BT Home Hub

If you haven’t already installed your BT Home Hub, you need to do

so before installing BT Vision. Please refer to the BT Total Broadband
Set-Up Guide. This can be found in your BT Home Hub pack. If you are
unable to find the guide then please check out www.homehub.bt.com/
html/getting-started.html.

How it all works

Please read these instructions in full before starting the

installation, to make sure it goes smoothly.

• Your BT Vision V-box™ will sit near your television,

and will use the supplied Comtrend Powerline
Adapters to connect to your BT Home Hub.
Step 1 - Check your kit
• We know that most people have their main TV in the
living-room and their PC elsewhere in the home.
Following the steps in this guide means the BT Home
Hub and BT Vision V-box™ do not need to be near
each other. The Powerline Adapters automatically
allow the BT Vision V-box™ to communicate with the
BT Home Hub.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT turn your BT Vision V-box™ on

until you’ve completed all of the steps in this guide.
