RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
JING is a screen casting program; this program allows teachers and students to create a short video (if done with free trial). Also
allows students to work through solutions in real time with the video.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students’ presentation/speaking/communication skills?

JING allows students to create a video on a topic or problem and work through to the solution while speaking over the
video. This program can help students who have anxiety presenting in front of crowds by being able to create a
presentation and talk about said presentation. I personally have used this program to create presentations for
students and peers to help them walk through problems.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?

In my opinion I believe that JING, is a 1 on the “value-added rating scale”.

 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

This program would be more useful if a teacher created it. JING is useful for bringing in a new topic for students to review
outside of the classroom.
