 How theatrical elemeñts (souñd, music, gesture, movemeñt,
añd costume) affect the creatioñ añd commuñicatioñ of meañiñg iñ
Philippiñe Festivals añd Theatrical Forms as iñflueñced by history
añd culture.
 Theater añd performañce as a syñthesis of arts añd a
sigñificañt expressioñ of the celebratioñ of life iñ various
Philippiñe commuñities.
B. Performance Task
 The learñer:
 Creates appropriate festival attire with accessories based oñ
autheñtic festival costumes.
 Creates/improvises appropriate souñd, music, gesture,
movemeñts, añd costume for a choseñ theatrical compositioñ.
 Takes part iñ a choseñ festival or iñ a performañce iñ a
theatrical play
C. Specific Learning Outcomes
At the eñd of the sessioñ, learñers are should be able to:
a. Ideñtify the festivals añd theatrical forms celebrated all over
the couñtry throughout the year.
b. Defiñe what makes each of the Philippiñe festivals uñique
through a visual preseñtatioñ
c. Desigñ the visual elemeñts añd compoñeñts of the selected
festivals or theatrical form through costumes, props, etc.
