Insight of my first lesson plan:

This lesson plan was my first lesson plan in the off-campus field
study. There were mixed emotions gathered inside myself. I felt
nervous because I was thinking the negative outcome of it. My first
lesson plan was about using personal pronouns. As a student teacher
being assigned to grade 2 , I must think on how to retain the attention
of the learners. According to the book written by Brooks, J. and Brooks,
M. (1993). In Search of Understanding: The Case for Constructivist
Classrooms, ASCD. Since all sensory input is organized by the person
receiving the stimuli, it cannot always be directly transferred from the
teacher to the student. This means that a teacher cannot "pour"
information into a student's brain and always expect them to process
it and apply it correctly later. For example, think of a time when you
were taught something in a lecture-type class. Then contrast that
against a time when you had to prepare to teach someone else
something. You will probably agree that you learned the material
better when you were preparing to teach the material. This is because
you constructed the knowledge for yourself. So as a teacher we must
be actively involved in guiding our learners’ development of
knowledge.
Insight of my second lesson plan:

This lesson plan was my second lesson plan. This lesson plan
was about identifying the common terms in English relating to part of
a book. At first I had a difficulty on what method I should use because
there were 8 common terms and considering the learners were still
young. I have realized that it was good to conduct activities for the
learners. According to Howard Gardner, there were different learning
styles. As a future teacher, I should consider the different learning
styles of my learners.
Insight of my first lesson plan:

This time I was tasked to teach in Filipino subject. The only problem
was about the translation of words to Filipino terms. We all know that
using our national language is quite difficult for few people and that
includes myself. I tried my best to write a lesson plan using the Filipino
language. At first I had a difficulty in constructing the sentences but
with the help of my friends, I have finished the lesson plan.
Creating a lesson plan which had a Filipino language made it
difficult but I had to accept the fact that as an education student, I
should be an effective future teacher that can able to teach in
different learning areas.
Insight of my second lesson plan:
This lesson plan was my second lesson plan for the FS subject.
I provided a big book for the teaching. I knew that the discussion
would be fun because there will be a storybook. As expected, the
learners were really entertained and I was able to retain their attention
that much. In one of the theories of learning, there are two parts to developing long-
term retention: memorization (the transfer of new knowledge from the short term memory
to the long term memory) and incorporation (relating new knowledge to exisiting
knowledge and assigning it to a proper location in your long term memory )
Insight of my third lesson plan:

This lesson plan was about using prepositions. I chose the

deductive method because as I have observed, the learners were
having a difficulty to learn in English subject. I used an activity that
could relate to real-life situations. Ivan Pavlov and B.F. Skinner
theorized the behaviorism theory. Behaviorism is a worldview that
operates on a principle of “stimulus-response.” All behavior caused by
external stimuli (operant conditioning). All behavior can be explained
without the need to consider internal mental states or consciousness.
