edge of the company is mostly supported by the level of effectiveness and efficiency in
operations. A slight problem might result to disorganization in the warehouse and the resulting
effect would be slowing down the other operations since the activities in such a setting are
intertwined.
The problem
Many warehouses lack sufficient space due to different contributing factors. The
company might have enough space to facilitate operations but the problem might be as a result of
disorganization of materials and machinery within the warehouse. The issues I am planning to
address in this topic concern the organization of stock and equipment to create more space in the
warehouse.
Why is it important
This topic is important because lack of enough space will slow the other activities such as
storage and time taken to move stock from one place to the other, or to locate a certain product.
An organized warehouse with sufficient space has minimal injuries or hazards that occur in the
sufficient space.
