INTRODUCTION:

The existing TLC of Tezpur University (TU) envisions developing and promoting a responsive
and relevant teaching–learning system for higher education communities and contributing to
excellence in teaching and learning as an innovative and well-resourceful center with committed
and professional staff through reflective research-based practice and the optimal use of technology.

PROGRAMMES/ ACTIVITIES TO BE UNDERTAKEN IN THE TLC:


1. Development of Teaching Learning Materials including E-content

2. Prepare an outline of different pedagogy and scheme of assessment and evaluation

3. Professional Development Programmes

4. Pre-Induction Programmes

5. Orientation Programs/ Refresher Courses

6. Workshop on various themes of Teaching and Learning

7. Seminar / Conference

8. Action Research Programme

9. Publication (Handbooks, Proceeding of seminars and Journals on Teaching Learning)

10. Resource Support

PROCESS OF PROCEEDING WITH THE ACTIVITIES:
1. Design a program or activities to be undertaken.
2. Get approval by leaders (Director, Chairperson etc.) and the advisory committee.
3. Contact prominent educators (Faculty, External Resource Persons or Instructors).
4. Contact financial management office for allocation of fund.
5. Manage dates for conducting the activity by consulting with time table management.
6. Contact facilities and asset management to arrange classrooms and other assets for
conducting the activity.
7. Send out news and notifications about the activity.
8. Manage registration and confirm the participants’ participation.
9. Conduct the activity.
10. Get feedback from both the educator and the participants.
11. Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the activity.
