LETER OF APPLICATION FOR SECURITY ASSISTANCE

Kpongbokiri Tourist Centre is a tourist Attraction and Events venue with sole business in Drinking Bar, Tourist
Leisure & Entertainment, Restaurant, Bush Bar, Fish Training (Fish Ponds) and Events/party/Show Biz.
Situated at the above address in Nembe City, Bayelsa State.
I humbly apply to your esteem office for Security Assistance to help enhance my security, surveillance and
maintain Law and Order at my Business Environment here in Nembe City. The essence of this request is for
your personnel to be within my business environment during our days of activities for security presence to be
felt and to ensure proper conduct and safety of customers and tourists, also to avert any misconduct of any kind.
This is a business am using to feed my family, and now it is very hard for me to see to my families up keep as
a result of the closing down of my business.
In the past we have had a lot of challenges that lead to the closing down of my business place, for almost a
year, when some people in power instigated that the centre was a zone for drug activities, cultist activities which
was never been proved by even the accusers and they keep on pressing hard to cause problems that will close
down my business place conniving with security personnel to close my business place, I have written to the
Area Command here, State Security Service (SSS), Community Security, JTF and even the Police Division
here in Nembe for security assistance which is still on hold, I have begged for security briefing to be held so
we can discuss the issue but to no avail because the L.G.A Chairman refused to call for that meeting which was
the actual place to discuss security issues that affects the area, but for more than a year, such thing has not
happened and if it has; means it was done in isolation from other security agencies like the SSS and JTF, rather
I was invited to SARS office with accusation of drug activities and cultist activities and threat to violence, I
don’t even sell cigarettes in my business centre neither do I entertain any form of drug use or cultic activity. I
don’t even allow customers bring anything inside my business premise that was bought outside. Which SARS
also let me go after investigating the matter thoroughly. I was also invited to SIIB for the same reason which
the complainant has been discrete, the officers from SIIB also went to my business place and was amazed at
the environment. After taking pictures and properly checking the environment, up till date nothing has been
said or done to investigate the matter.
Sir please I am begging for your kind assistance to enable me open my business environment to be able to
survive with my family, I don’t know where to channel my complains to anymore, that’s why I am writing to
you directly for proper investigation, reopening of my business and Security Assistance.
